Admissions

Please submit the following:

1) APPLICATION – Please fill out and turn in Student Application, Permission/Release Agreement, Student Health Checklist  and Pastor’s Letter of Recommendation completely. By signing the application parents are in agreement to abide by all guidelines, conditions, and regulations in the Student Handbook and to be responsible for the student’s adherence to the same regulations.

2) APPLICATION FEE – $100

At this point we will schedule a parent interview and testing. At the middle & high school levels, the student will be included in the interview.

After the interview & testing portion has been completed, you will be notified, by letter or phone, of our decision. If you are not approved, your $100 application fee will be refunded. Acceptance of a student will be based upon the availability of classroom space and interview results.

If you are approved, you will then be asked to submit the following paperwork to the school office:

•  A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate
•  Physical Immunization Card
•  Authorization for Release of Records (Kindergarten excluded)
•  Signed Tuition Contract & Payment Plan (10 month option requires submitting an Authorization Agreement for Direct Debit)

3) BOOK FEE (Non-refundable) – $150 (Kindergarten); $250 (1st -5th );  $300 (6th -10th )

Once all of the above forms have been received in the school office, along with Enrollment Fee of $100 (maximum of $200 per family) your child will be enrolled and a spot reserved.

If your child is accepted, you will be notified by letter to submit your Book Fee by the designated deadline. This usually is the middle of May. If it is after June 1 st when you receive notice of acceptance, you will need to pay the full Book Fee. At no time are Book Fees refundable . The first tuition payment is July 1 st . Please be advised that it is FBA’s policy not to accept applicants who have an unpaid account with another private school. The Academy will only enroll those students whose academic, physical, and emotional needs can be reasonably met. FBA has the right to positively affect the school climate by refusing admission to, or removing from, the school any student or family whose influence would be detrimental to the goals or the reputation of the school. First Baptist Academy admits students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin.
